Assalamua'laikum everyone!!!

I think it's not too late for me to cover this topic. I've been bit bz with study stuff lately.

Alhamdulillah. the program was a great one. I think this will be my last prog joining as committee for Usrah. Maybe if i do join later, i wont be involved much since i'm nearing my final year in my degree. I'm glad i join the prog. The Palestine Remembrance Night was a great one.

There was some problem with the audio and stuff. But I think it all work out nicely. All the hard work was worth it. Since I can't really do much for my brother and sister's in Palestine, I think giving out the message about them is my obligation for them.

The comms for Palestine Remembrance Night was great. Everyone did their part to ensure the night was going smoothly. Thanks also to the ad-hoc (usher) and MC's.

The week started off with a pameran by NGO's like teras, ISMA, Aman Palestine, etc. Then a talk was held covering the topic 'Palestine as a holy place for 3 religion'. The talk was memorable for me. As what I remembered, one of the speaker who is from Palestine say, 'I can live anywhere else, but give me back my home in Palestine.' .I can't imagine his feelings knowing his family is still there in Palestine fighting for their lives and protecting their HOMELAND.

Some people who see the Palestine as terrorist are really not getting the point. Why are they in the wrong when the Israeli's are the one that are invading their land. When you're standing your ground, does you see them as wrong? The Israeli's are bulldozing their homes, schools, killing their families, friends, and treating the Palestinian's like they're not human. Does it make sense if you kill someone just because they are Palestinian's?

Alhamdulillah there was a lot of people coming to the forum. And it looks like the non-muslims are also opening their eyes to the situation in Palestine. There was also a lot of foreigners and some non muslim's attending the talk.

I was given the task to be the backstage manager during the Palestine Remembrance Night. I think all the performer's and committee's can see me going back and front on that night. Thanks to my frens and the welfare committee who cared for our welfare. They keep asking us to go eat for lunch and dinner. I think if they didn't keep bugging me, I wont have my lunch and dinner. Thanks a lot guys.

The night started with a performance from Brother Muadz. Then there was nasheed, poem and a drama presentation from History Society member's. I personally feel like it was a good thing that there are foreigner's performance. Palestine issue really has unite the whole Muslim's especially in MMU. We also have AFWAN performing. It seem's like a long time since they've performed in MMU. The drama team from UIA gave a great performance. To think that they only practiced for 1 week, I gave them a thumbs up.

The night ended with a doa recitation led by Bro Muadz. May Allah help our brother and sister's in Palestine.

I really hope that there will be more program like this. I don't mind if it wasn't perfect. The important thing is that we all get something out of it. Hope that the flame we have now wont fade away. Lets continue to spread the words and do our part.

For all, Palestine is not only a religion issue, it is also a humanity issue.

Nampaknye blog2 lain juga kini tgh hangat menyatakan tentang hal BOIKOT.


Saya akui, boikot bukan cara terbaik. Tetapi apa lagi cara lain untuk kita sebagai pelajar untuk tolong saudara-saudara di Palestine? Dikala kita disini tgh fikir dan cuba rasionalkan sama ada nak boikot ke taknak, mereka disana sedang dibom, diserang, bekalan harian disekat, macam-macam lagi. Jika ada cara lain untuk bantu mereka, sila beri cadangan.

Saya ingin utarakan beberapa pendapat untuk saudara dan saudari sekalian fikirkan.

1. Boikot membuatkan banyak orang hilang pekerjaan?
Ya, saya akui. jika kita boikot sesuatu barangan, atau company, akan ada yang hilang pekerjaan. Tetapi, perlu difikirkan dari sudut yang berbeza. Apabila sesuatu syarikat diboikot, masih ada syarikat lain yang memberikan alternatif untuk barangan yang sama.



Contohnya coca cola. Kini sudah banyak cola-cola yang dikeluarkan syarikat lain. Bila memboikot, bukannya pasaran untuk barangan tersebut akan terus hilang, tetapi pengguna akan beralih pada barangan yang lain. Apabila ini berlaku, syarikat2 tersebut akan mengambil pekerja2 bagi menampung permintaan. Bukankah ini akan menyelesaikan masalah tersebut?. Jika tiada alternatif untuk barangan tersebut, maka timbul peluang untuk menubuhkan satu syarikat baru yang mengeluarkan barangan yang sama. Inilah peluang untuk usahawan-usahawan negara untuk merebut peluang yang ada. Bukankah ini juga dapat menyelesaikan masalah pengangguran?

Lebih baik lagi, income negara akan bertambah dan kita dapat mengurangkan import barangan dari luar.


2. Boikot? banyak barang yang kita guna sekarang ni pon barang2 yang tersenarai. Nak buang ke?
Jangan buang. Jika barangan tersebut sudahpun kita beli, apa guna kita membuangnya sekarang? Bukannya jika kita buang barangan tersebut, wang kita akan dikembalikan. Jika dilihat dalam senarai, banyak lagi barangan lain yang boleh kita boikot.

Contohnya kita suka coca cola, apa kata beralih pada cola keluarkan tempatan. (Contohnya di kampung belah ayah saya di Perak, ada Bota Cola keluaran tempatan. hehhe.. rasanya sama je pada saya.)


Contoh 2. Suka coklat? Sila pegi ke kedai or supermarket. Sila jalan ke bahagian coklat-coklat (mesti tau kan bahagian coklat tu kat mana. hehe) . Banyaknye coklat!!!!! (yang selain nestle? banyak lagi...cadbury, mars,hershey, yang tempatan punya pon ade. yang bentuk2 bola, bentuk duit, banyak rasanye.... nyum nyum...hehehe..tiba-tiba macam nak makan coklat pulak)

Untuk mereka yang merokok, mungkin ini salah satu masa untuk mula berhenti. Kerana rokok yang anda beli itu sebahagian profitnya diberikan kepada Israel. Merokok merbahaya pada kesihatan. Saya cuma nak ingatkan sebab saya sayang kawan-kawan saya. Jika ada yang masih tak tergerak atau terdetik untuk berhenti sekarang, silalah fikirkan kesihatan anda.


3. Kene boikot semua ke skarang????

Jika mampu, kenapa tidak? Tapi untuk kita yang baru mula untuk memboikot, jangan bersedih. Mulakan perlahan-lahan. Contohnya, kini saya sudah tak membeli coca cola. itu langkah pertama yang saya mulakan sejak 2 tahun lalu. Walaupun vanilla coke tu sedap...huhu..tapi setiap kali tengok, tahan nafsu untuk beli. Lepas tu last-last beli susu or jus.....sedap jugak. heheh.

Macam barang-barang berjenama, tak beli pon dari dl...sebab rasa macam tak mampu. Beli yang murah-murah sudah.


Meggie? Alamak, saye pon ade lagi 4 paket meggie kat depan. Tp takde la nak buang. Habiskan saja jika sudah dibeli. Tetapi, lepas ni kene la beralih pada yang lain. Jika balik rumah pon mesti ada stok meggie yang dibeli keluarga, tanak makan ke? makan je, tapi setiap kali balik, belikan mee segera jenama lain, cari yang sedap-sedap. Letak kat rumah.


Saya agak terkejut bila tgk National Geographic ada tersenarai. (Dalam hati : TIDAK!!!!) Mungkin saya masih akan tgk national geographic di TV,. Sebab selalunya channel-channel lain tak dapat menambat hati. Sungguh tak berilmiah. huhu. Mungkin boleh boikot majalahnya. Jangan beli majalah national geographic. Readers digest pon bagus juga. (tak tau readers digest ada dalam list boikot atau tidak)



Ada kereta? Guna ambi pur? ooo...patut la wangi... Tapi kalau guna yang lain tak wangi ke? Rasanye letak sabun sebiji dalam kereta pon boleh wangi. hehehe.

Jadi sekarang?
Jadi ape lagi? boikot la...huhu. Usahlah kita susahkan benda yang senang. Rasanya tak perlu nak fikir lebih lebih. Boikot bukan hanya usaha seorang saja, tetapi ianya akan berkesan apabila kita lakukan bersama-sama.


MARI KITA MULAKAN PERANG EKONOMI!!!!!!!

Saya yang masih kurang pengetahuan. Jika ada silap dan salah, harap diperbetul dan dimaafkan. Ini sekadar pendapat dan pandangan sahaja.

Read the news lately? For those who haven't, please do so. Hopefully we can all throw away the feelings of ignorant to the world around us. The first step to make a better world for all is by knowing. As a malay proverb states, "Kalau tak kenal, maka tak cinta."

I'm writing this topic not only because I'm a Muslim, but I think that everyone who has compassion for human lives will feel that if innocent people is dead, and it is not stop, something is certainly wrong in this world



Palestine has been under constant conflict with Israel. Its sad to see that when Palestine was under attack, we cant do much to help. I envy the Palestinian for holding their ground and protecting their own homeland for so long. Under vague reasons, innocent people are killed. When this happen, most of the world keep a blind eye.

Some Jews opposes these attacks and many people demonstrated all over the world. But the question remains the same. When will it all stop?

Lets all pray and help in every way that we can to our brothers and sisters that is now under constant attack.

I think most of us know that a portion of money of some companies and products we use today goes to the Israeli funds. These funds are used for buying artilleries and equipments to attack Palestinian territory.
